The guide highlights what the Kiama area has to offer, from beaches and coastal walks to local shops, markets, arts and dining. It is aimed at first-time visitors, returning travellers and locals looking for ideas close to home.
The release follows Kiama being named NSW Top Tourism Town for a second consecutive year, reinforcing its profile as a popular destination for visitors from across the state and beyond.
Kiama Mayor Cameron McDonald said the guide reflects the character of the region.

2026 Kiama Visitor Guide
“The 2026 Kiama Visitor Guide celebrates what makes our area special,” Cr McDonald said.
“From beaches and walking trails to the arts, local food and a growing evening scene, it captures the spirit of Kiama and encourages people to explore and enjoy everything the region has to offer.”
The guide has been redesigned to make trip planning easier, with dedicated sections for families, pet owners, visitors with additional needs and those looking for things to do at night.
A new ‘Kiama After Dark’ section focuses on the area’s evening and nightlife options.
The cover features the Kiama Lighthouse, photographed by local photographer Belinda Doyle.
“It just feels right to return to the lighthouse and blowhole,” said Tourism and Economic Advisory Committee chair Cr Matt Brown.
“They’re unmistakably Kiama.”
The guide was produced with input from the local community, including contributions from local photographers, design by Kiama-based Switch-up Design and graphic elements by local Aboriginal Elder Aunty Jodie Stewart.
Copies of the 2026 Kiama Visitor Guide are available from the Kiama Visitor Information Centre, online at kiama.com.au, and from partner businesses and Visitor Information Centres across NSW.
Whether for a day trip, weekend stay or longer visit, the guide aims to showcase why Kiama remains one of the state’s most popular coastal destinations.
