Police have thanked the public for their assistance in locating a woman missing from Albion Park.

The 50-year-old was located on Friday after she was last seen at in Macquarie Street, Albion Park about 7:50am on Thursday (28 August).

When she could not be contacted or located, she was reported missing to officers at Lake Illawarra Police District
