Officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District started an investigation last Monday into an alleged cocaine supply from a home in Mount Warrigal.

Following inquiries, police executed a search warrant at a home on Landy Drive about 9.30am on Wednesday and they have arrested two men, aged 35 and 45.

During the search, officers seized about 600g of items suspected of being illicit drugs, including MDMA, cocaine, and cannabis, along with more than $12,000 cash, two crossbows and ammunition.

They were taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station where the older man was charged with possess ammunition without holding licence/permit/authority, supply prohibited drug (more than small and less than or equal to indictable quantity), recklessly deal with proceeds of crime (less than or equal to $5000), possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit, and possess prohibited drug.

Police charged the younger man with drive motor vehicle while licence suspended, supply prohibited drug (more than indicatable and less than commercial quantity), deal with property proceeds of crime (less than $100000 and more than $5000), and possess prohibited drug (three counts).

They were refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Thursday.
