Police appeal for help to find missing man

NSW Police are appealing for assistance to locate a missing man who is known to frequent the Kiama area who is believed to be travelling from Queensland to Sydney.


Guy Murdoch, aged 49, was last spoken to last Thursday (29 May) and when he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Sutherland Shire Police Area Command were contacted.


They have started inquiries into his whereabouts and they believe he may have been seen in Burleigh Heads, Queensland, about 6pm on Friday.



Murdoch is known to frequent the Caringbah, Cronulla and Kiama areas and is believed to be travelling to the Sutherland Shire area from Queensland.


Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as he is acting out of character.


Murdoch is described as being of Caucasian appearance, medium build, with blue eyes and brown hair.


It is unknown what Guy was last seen wearing; however, police believe he may be in a vehicle.
