What is a Global Footprints Scholarship?

A Global Footprints Scholarship gives young Australians the chance to travel the world, learn about sustainability, and shape a better future—for themselves and for others.

Scholarships are open to young people in agriculture, horticulture, and many trades.

Global Footprints Scholarships are for young Australians in vocational careers. Scholars are selected based on their commitment to sustainability and passion for their profession.

To be eligible, applicants must:

• Be aged 18–25 on 30 June 2025
• Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
• Be working toward a vocational career (university students and graduates are not eligible)
• Show a clear commitment to sustainability and their industry
• Be able to leave Australia before 31 December 2026
• Organise their own travel, visas and work experience
• Spend at least 4 weeks overseas on industry-related activities

If successful, applicants will be asked to provide documents to confirm eligibility.
