Don't be concerned if you see emergency services descending on Shellharbour Airport on Saturday.

NSW Police have advised local residents that a training exercise will be conducted on Saturday in and around Shellharbour Airport.

The exercise will be conducted between 8am and 5pm, and residents are advised there may be an increase in emergency services vehicle movements in the vicinity.

There will also be a drone in operation, all part of essential emergency services training.

Strict safety protocols will be adhered to at all times.

NSW Police have assured the community there will be no risk to the public.
