Bugle Bulletin: A feast of local news and sport on YouTube

This week’s edition of the Bugle Bulletin on our YouTube channel brings you news and vision of the top stories in our region.

The lead story is Kiama MP Gareth Ward being found guilty of sexual assault charges with the independent politician facing a lengthy jail term after a 12-member jury in the NSW District Court found him guilty.

He was accused of two incidents involving young men in 2013 and 2015 and after a nine-week trial, he was found guilty of four charges.

NSW Premier Chris Minns and Opposition Leader Mark Speakman have called on him to resign immediately as he awaits sentencing.

We also bring you details of Hollywood glamour coming to Kiama with acclaimed filmmaker Gillian Armstrong in town on Saturday for the Orry-Kelly gala night.

Anderson released Women He’s Undressed, the documentary about Kiama-born, three-time Oscar-winning costume designer Orry-Kelly a decade ago and she still admits it was shame that motivated her to make it.

We also bring you up to date on the court case involving the driver of the recent high-speed pursuit in Kiama.

In sport, check out Gerringong's miracle try and Kiama's IRB glory at the national titles.

All that and more in this week’s Bugle Bulletin, now streaming via The Bugle app and on The Bugle News - Kiama YouTube channel.
